13 Pc Lock and Drain Non Stick Cookware Set Red

Needs a safer non stick coating
I had a blue set of these and I loved the lock and drain feature! Wish they would update these with a safer non stick coating. I only hand wash all my dishes and the coating was still coming off even though I never used any metal on these pans, Also the outside paint was chipping off. I love the concept of the locking lid. Please use a safer non stick coating and upgrade your painting process. I miss the the set but not wanting to eat Teflon with my food. Thanks...

Nice set
I have owned this set for 7 years, (it wasn't in red though) and it works great!
I would purchase this again.

16 QT STAINLESS STEEL (COMMERCIAL GRADE NSF) STOCK POT W/ LID

No-Name Chinese Pots "Winco"
I owned two different models of pots for my commercial use. the first ones were Italian-made, decent quality. the other ones crummy Cheapo Chinese ones. I will use the Italian ones purchased at Costco as a basis for comparison to these pots.

This product's dimensions are 10Hx11.5Wx15.5W (with handles). They each weigh in around 7 Lbs. with lids. The pot, without the lid weighs around 6.2Lbs. They each weigh slightly less than my Italian pots without lids on. The handles, on these Chinese pots, are 10 point spot-welded rather than the rivet/bolted attachment on the Italian ones. I hope they will hold up, they seem sturdy, but it remains to be seen. The handles are nice and wide, wire-type, solid stainless steel. The pots and the handles have a good balance and feel to them overall. The seem slightly lighter gauge than the Italian pot's wire type handles.

The aluminum conduction plate on one of them was improperly cast and has left a slight dent in the bottom of...

Victorinox 6" Forged Boning Knife

a good knife at a good price
I've had this knife so long maybe they aren't making so many of these straight handled versions anymore? Most of what comes up in a search these days for Victorinox 'boning' or 'filleting' knife will have a very curved ergonomic handle. I own and have worked with both types of handle styles and my preference often comes down to the specific task it's designed for; I have to say this straight handled model has served me well for years.

This knife is very comfortable - the straight handle helps me get a good solid grip on the knife to work cleanly and precisely, for example when deboning a chicken. Admittedly even after watching dozens of how-to videos on you tube my technique is still terrible but the knife does all the work - very sharp, flexible, and shaped to be accurate so all that's left when I'm done are the bare bones.

Most of my knives play the "all purpose" role at some point; the beauty of novice ownership of something is that you broaden its destiny by...

10" Springform Cake Pan with a Glass Base

cooking marvelous is NOT
The pan is less than good in quality. The supplier cooking marvelous.co.uk is less than poor in shipping skills. The first one arrived in a dented torn box. My first impression was that the box was not large enough to cushion a glass pan or strong enough to stand up to shipping with other packages. My impression proved right. When I opened the box I found a dented and creased rim on the pan. I contacted cooking marvelous and told them about the problem and explained that I thought the dent happened because the box was below adequate. A second pan was shipped. However, it was shipped in an identical too small and too weak box. I opened it to find a dented rim. However, since the pan is below standard material I pressed the dent out and will try using the pan. It leaks when filled with water. I am hoping that a cheesecake crust being somewhat slid will seal the pan and keep it from leaking. If I lookfor other suplies through Amazon, I will not order from cooking marvelous.

Anolon Titanium Hard Anodized Nonstick 5-1/2-Quart Covered Casserole

Incredible!
I bought this pan as a "test" pan a few months ago. I use it constantly and found that it does stand up to the dishwasher fantastically. Well, last night I put some water to boil with the burner heat as high as it would go. Then I fell asleep in front of the television and woke up over two hours later. The bottom of the pan was literally white hot and slightly melted and stuck to the burner. I pulled it off (with difficulty) and poured cold water into it gradually. My intent was to cool it so I could throw it away. After it was cool though, it had a discolored center area, but it is otherwise fine. Okay, it does have a slight ring-shaped indentions on the bottom from the burner, but that is no problem. I'm buying another one just so it can be "pretty", but I'm keeping the old one because it still works fine.

best pot i've bought so far
There is something strange about the angle on that picture. This pot is a lot larger than it appears. I love it. It's good for everything from soup to pasta to actual casseroles. It is so easy to clean even without a dishwasher. My mother was surprised you could put it in the oven, thought I needed to be careful of the temperature I was cooking at, but it is safe for any temperature I cook at.

you can cook anything!
I'm agreeing with other reviewers, this pan looks exactly like the 2nd picture featured. I've used this a bunch of times so far and it's becoming my favorite everyday pan. You can cook anything in it from pasta to chicken to soup.. I've even done stir fry! The best feature is it's dishwasher safe so it's a very easy cleanup. Highly Recommend!

Wok Cover Aluminum 13-1/4"

Good Value and Does the Job
This cover was literally the least expensive aluminum cover I could find anywhere on the net. It is 1/2 to 1/3 the price of higher quality covers. As such, I wasn't expecting much but just wanted it to be functional. That indeed it exactly what I got so I'm happy with this.

The cover was poorly packaged even though it came in an over-sized box with LOTS of plastic wrap around the cover. Still it had two small dents in the top. One I easily pushed out with my thumb. The other would not completely push out but it doesn't really affect the functionality.

The other thing I noticed was that it had a black "coating" all over it that immediately got on my hands and anything else it touched. I'm not sure if this was from the manufacturing process or if it was corrosion (natural for aluminum). I was able to completely remove it using Goo Gone liquid solvent and then normal soap and water. It's been more than a week since I've done this and it hasn't come back so...

Winco Stainless steel Fry Pan Cover For 12 Pan

Size
Actually this item is good quality but, I measured the inside of my frypan which was 12 inches (inside diameter) and the lid does not fit.

12" fry pan lid
This review is for the stainless steel lid for the Winco 12" fry pan reviewed elsewhere. This lid fits both models of 12" fry pan that Winco produces. I bought this lid separately since Amazon wasn't stocking it at the time. The lid actually arrived before the fry pan, and at first I thought I had received the pan -- the lid is quite heavy. It's almost flat (slightly raised in the center) so that cooking juices will drip back into the pan. Exterior diameter is 13 1/8" so it fits the fry pan perfectly. The lip is raised nearly 1/2" and the internal diameter (the part that goes inside the pan) is 12 1/2", again fitting the fry pan perfectly. There's a solid stainless handle welded to the top, about 6" long and raised 2". No effort was made to prevent the handle from getting hot, and it gets very hot, so you'll need a hotpad or mitt to remove the lid. In my opinion this is as it should be -- the lid gets quite hot because it makes uniform contact with the pan, which allows the...

This is a fantastic product. Usually I never trust pans endorsed by chefs. But Ramsey looks to me like a professional guy so decided to go for it after some research on the web.
I can tell you this is a pan absolutely should be in every kitchen. During the years I've built myself three separate kitchen sets: demeyere, staub and debuyer. I think a good non stick pan was necessary for some dishes (de buyere is a good alternative too also, very good for crepe and omelette, and fish also). So far my experience with it is amazing. This pan is the one that used to be called TitanPlus. One cm thickness. Superbe heat retention. It's non stick properties are unparalleled. Scratch resistant. No way you can scratch the coating of this pan.
I recommend this kind of pans to everyone. Trust me. You will absolutely agree with me.

Bought this for my first canning experience. They look so simple but made the canning SOOOO easy. The jar lifter holds tight, the funnel is exactly the right size and the top of jar measurer is genius. Well worth the money and I'll use these tools a lot since I now plan to continue my own preserving.

This kit is a must have for canners
This kit is a must have for canners. It makes canning so much easier and faster. I cannot imagine trying to can without this equipment. The jar lifter works well for putting your hot jars into the canner as well as taking them out. The magnetic lid lifter is perfect. It is strong enough to pick up two lids at once if one is directly under another (which makes canning faster sometimes). It is so much easier to use it instead of trying to lift them out with a fork! The head space tool/bubble freer is nice because it takes the guess work out of out much to fill the jars and is easy to use in the jars when removing bubbles. I do not know how well the funnel works because I do not use it I bought a stainless steel funnel because I don't trust plastic ones.

Bakers & Chefs 10" Nonstick Restaurant Fry Pan (2 Pack)

What a Wonderful Surprise
I had been researching 10" non-stick pans on Amazon. The next day I was in a big box store and came across the Bakers & Chefs 10" pan that I'd never heard of before. I am so pleased I took a chance with it as its performance is superb. After 6+ months of use the non-stick surface is like new and nothing sticks to it. From what I read you should not use aerisol spray oil on the pan as it can ruin the non-stick surface. I have used only olive oil or butter on ocassion, but usually don't use anything. Easy cleanup with a soapy sponge. Don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.

excellent product
wife says that it is an excellent nonstick fry pan; uses it every day and is happy, happy, happy with item.

Bakers & Chefs 10" Skillet
I've had one of these skillets for several months, now, got it from Amazon. Before buying, I did some research on the Eclipse non-stick coating. Standard industry Lab tests indicate that Eclipse is orders of magnitude better than previous non-stick coatings. I have to agree; this is the best skillet I've ever used; nothing sticks to it, it cooks evenly, eggs slide around as if they were on ice skates. It cleans up like new. I wipe it out with a paper towel, then rinse it out with hot water, and a dishrag (no soap, ever), even the raw aluminum outside surface. The pan is a good weight, good balance, it feels good in your hands, you can flip things easily, even things, like pancakes, that stick to some other pans.

I bought these two, one for each of my daughters; they tell me that they love the pans...and me. I give Bakers & Chefs an A+ for the design (sides are sloped, so you can easily flip the contents), construction (three burly rivets hold the cast Stainless Steel handle...

All Clad Stainless Kitchen Helpers

Student cookware
First of all, this set is NOT the made-in-USA All-Clad, which is made in Pennsylvania in a special factory with special materials, but is made in China for All-Clad. The pieces are small, with no lids, and no lids are available. This is a freebie that comes if you buy a set of "the other" All-Clad. Probably an experiment to see if China can do as well as the USA.

That said, the pieces are smaller than the usual smallest All-Clad pieces. Remembering that you can never fill a cooking pan brimful, you should count on a capacity of only a few cups in these "helpers." They are just about right for heating up a small portion of something if you live in student digs.

Great set, great gift
We have a lot of All-Clad pieces and when I first saw these I couldn't believe the price. Another reviewer mentioned they are made in China for All-Clad. I've used All-Clad for many years and these seem to be as well built as the USA versions. A lid IS available for the sauce pan, just buy a 1 or 2 quart sauce pan lid. The pieces are a little small, but I use they for many things.

The price is right for giving as a gift. Each pan is in it's own box inside a bigger, so they can be given as two gifts.

I highly recommend these pans.

Wow - I never had cookware that performs this well!
I just recently received this set as a gift from my wife. I'd been talking about updating some of the accessories in our kitchen and cookware was one of the things I couldn't decide on. We've had Farberware for 20 years and been mostly satisfied with its performance - but I really wanted something a little more sturdy. So when these showed up I was excited to try them out. My experience so far leads me to believe that these things will last forever if you take care of them. I find that they fit the way I cook and are really easy to clean - if you follow the directions. I couldn't be more impressed.

All-Clad LTD2 8-Inch Fry Pan

Amazing pan- for a few years (don't believe the warranty)
I loved this pan and used it frequently for many years. In the past two years I've noticed some flaking of the non-stick coating. I went to their website and read about many flaking issues actually just being hardened food particles so I dutifully scrubbed with baking soda to no avail. I finally decided i would send it back but received the following via email from All-Clad:
"Most instances when the non-stick coating has lost its' non-stick properties, it is due to overheating of the pan. Cookware with non-stick coatings should be used on low to medium heat settings. Due to the superior quality of All-Clad cookware the cookware will heat up quicker and retain the heat. One indication that your pan has been overheated is that your non-stick has turned a brown or rusty color. Overheating of the non-stick coating will cause the non-stick properties to break down. As a result you will find that foods are sticking to the cookware. Overheating voids the warranty. You may try...

Love the LTD2 line
I got this as a Warehouse deal from Amazon and didn't really notice any defects with it. The nonstick surface is great - it's a bit rougher texture than my old Calphalon pans. Not sure how that helps performance, but it's definitely effective. Love the long handle. This is a heavy duty pan.

UPDATE:
I've been using the pan for about a year now, and I've noticed the outer coating has worn away slightly in spots where it's prone to abrasion. Also, hardened grease doesn't seem to clean very easily from the outside surface, and I'm nervous to use my barkeeps friend cleaner on it. I will probably stick to the stainless varieties from now on.

It Warps
I'm a big fan of All-Clad cookware. I own several types (LTD, Stainless, copper core). None of them have given me any trouble except for this skillet. The outside warps after only a few uses so that the pan wobbles and won't sit flat. I've replace it several times but with each pan the same results occur. Very disappointing because otherwise it is an excellent pan. The handle is comfortable, the outside is very scratch resistant, the pan is thick and heavy and heats very evenly. I think that All-Clad has a problem with the LTD2 line. It they can fix it they will have a winner. Right now though, I'd avoid it.

All-Clad Copper-Core Stainless Steel 3-Quart Saute and Simmer Pan

perfect pan
I just purchased this pan after having impressive results with the copper core fry pan. I love this pan and use it much more than the fry pan. The added height of the sides allows this to have multiple uses and the lid is great. I have used this pan to sear salmon, whip up a risotto and for stir frying vegetables, all with great results. Every time the pan cleans up incredibly well. I thought I was going to have a hard clean up with one dish but after soaking in warm water for 20 minutes the pan cleaned up looking brand new. I am very happy with the responsiveness to temperature adjustments. I am a hard core Le Creuset fan but and very happy to add this to my cooking arsenal.

Perfect Sized Pan
I get a lot of use from this pan because it's a cross between a fry pan and a sauce pan. The sides are higher than the Copper Core frying pans and the lid to this pan will also fit the All Clad Copper Core 10 inch fry pan. I have prepared risotto, chicken Marsala, omelets, burgers, etc. in this pan. I own seven Copper Core pans and do not cook with anything else other than one enameled cast iron pan. They clean up easily with Bar Keepers Friend (powder, not liquid version) and my pans still look like new despite putting them in the dishwasher. The value of Copper Core is the even heat conduction. I cook on an electric flat top stove. When I use a burner that is smaller than the pan footprint, the pan still cooks evenly and not just in the middle. These are pans that will last a lifetime and you will pass on to someone later in life. Yes they are an investment, but how many sets of crappy pans do people end up buying over the course of a several years? These are the last pans that you...

Berndes Nonstick Specialty Series 9.5 Inch Skillet

Avoid this skillet
We owned a Berndes skillet that we loved and used daily for 15 years until it finally fell apart. We purchased a replacement that did not last 15 months until the coating blistered and peeled. When we contacted the US distributor we were told that we would have to ship them the pan (we pay for postage and packing materials), and pay them non-refundable $15, and then they would let us know if they would honor the warranty. Sadly, the poor quality and warranty administration adds up to a pass on Berndes' products.

Love It
Skillet - 9.5" - Non-stick
It's wonderful. I love it. I've been using Berndes pans for several years and think they are absolutely the best available. They are lightwieght, they heat evenly, and instantly react to a change in the gas flame.

Avoid the "Specialty" line
Berndes cookware is among the very best, but the Specialty line was cheap, shoddy, and mass-produced in China. I bought the 9.5 in. skillet and the handle literally fell off after only three months of use. Buy the Coquere or Signocast lines instead. Worth the extra $$!

All-clad D5 Stainless Steel 6 Quart Essential Pan with Lid

Amazing pan!
I was going to buy the 6 quart sauté pan but saw this pan in the Williams Sonoma store. This a huge pan and when placed side by side with the sauté pan-this one is the winner hands down. Last night I had my stock pot in use and needed to boil two pounds of potatoes for a potato salad. I filled this pan 2/3 full with water and added the potatoes and it worked beautifully. This pan is 6 1/2 inches deep and 13 1/2 inches round and 11 inches on the bottom. It is great to sauté, fry, or boiling. This pan is huge and if you want a large pan this is the one, but if you want a moderate size pan, i would recommend the same pan but the 4 quart version. If you want a pan that can do a lot, I highly recommend this pan.

American Metalcraft AO080 Oval Stainless Steel Au Gratin Dish, 8-Ounce

These are ok....
Handy little size to have around, but was slightly disappointed that they were not very heavy. However, they were not overpriced, so I guess you get what you pay for.

All-Clad Cop-R-Chef 6-Inch Lid

Haven't found anything that it fits
Customer Service from All-Clad was comical. Doesn't fit the 2-Quart Saucepan as this copper finished lid is a little smaller than the stainless lid shipped with the 2-Quart Saucepan. Couldn't get a coherent answer from All-Clad regarding what it does fit in 3 emails to All-Clad customer service. They told me twice it's the lid to buy for that Saucepan although I have both and know they don't fit. By then it was too late to return for full refund.

Fits the 1.5 Qt sauce pan too
Very nice lid. Well made, heavy. Beautiful finish. Fits the 1.5 Qt Cop-R-Chef saucepan perfectly. The inside diameter is a touch under 5 1/2"; the outside diameter is 6 1/4". Copper on the outside, stainless steel on the inside, with a stainless steel handle, just like the pans.

All-Clad Stainless 6-Piece Cookware Set

Enjoy cooking!
I used to blame my lack of cooking in part on the fact that I had a terrible apartment kitchen with no counter space.

Well, that much is partially true, but after I received this set for my birthday one year, I realized it was also the pots I was using. And that with the right equipment, cooking is truly a joy.

I had an old set of hand-me-down Revereware. Competent enough, but their age was showing... and when it took me two hours to boil potatoes in the big pot (and they still didn't get completely done!) I was ready to throw them all out the window. Enter All Clad.

All Clad is not nonstick, and you do have to take care of it (although I do put mine in the dishwasher) but the shine is enough that you won't have much trouble if you clean up (or at least soak) immediately. Don't let it sit -- I'm still scrubbing the remains of some soy sausages from my skillet! (Although perhaps I shouldn't have cooked those in the first place.)

They have a solid aluminum core, which...

All-Clad is Awesome!
My wife and I received several Stainless All-Clad pieces for wedding gifts and are extremely happy with their performance. Food cooks evenly throughout the pans, heat is maintained, clean-up is simple. We have some with non-stick, which is amazing. Highly recommend purchasing. Spend the extra amount now since these will be the last ones you'll ever need to buy!

Worth every penny!
This set is a great way to get a few basic cookware pieces, however, once you start cooking with this truly outstanding cookware, you'll want to buy more. Over the years, I have spent hundreds of dollars on another well-known commercial cookware brand, but All-Clad is far superior. The stainless looks great and is a breeze to care for. The handles stay comfortable and the pots are really well-balanced, making them very easy to handle. They heat evenly and cook uniformly, even over low and medium heat. I am very pleased with All-Clad's performance on my radiant cooktop. I would recommend this line of cookware to anyone interested in quality and performance. Well worth every penny!

Vollrath 68121 Domed 11" Aluminum Stir Fry Pan Cover

just okay..
It slips inside the rim of the wok ... it doesn't rest on top like a normal lid... so there will be stress on the nonstick in the first couple of mm on the top of the wok... I like the high dome..
handle is kind of goofy.. lack of two point tacking prevents it from being hung with an s hook
I do love the high dome..
but otherwise... not well thought out.
might buy again... might just use another lid that fits like I'd been doing

Universal Housewares Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Chicken Fryer

Universal Housewares Pre-seasoned Cast Iron Chicken Fryer
It's an OK product for frying but I have similar size Lodge Logic and Logic is thicker and more well made than this product. I will just use it for camping outdoors and keep my Lodge fryer in my kitchen. I suggest you buy Lodge Logic and you will be more happier trust me.

Somewhat better than a Lodge
I ruined my beloved Lodge Logic Chicken Fryer a few weeks back: I accidentally left it wet with the cover on, and it started to rust. As you may know, the Lodges are sand-cast resulting in a sort of pebbled surface all over. Attractive, but very hard to properly season into a flat mirror-like surface. But worse, if it rusts, it's very hard to get all the rust out of the little dimples without strong chemical help. To be honest, I just threw it out.

Enter the Universal Housewares Chicken Fryer. To start with, the surface is pretty much flat inside and out -- no pebbling. It's also slightly larger than the old Lodge, but it does seem to be made a little cruder than the Lodges (lid handle asymmetrical, a mere tab instead of a second handle).

It arrived, like many Cast Iron Skillets, with some sort of protective coating (probably wax-based). So I did have to wash it quickly with hot water and soap to get down to the actual factory seasoning. It sort of looked...
