Art & Cuisine Professionnel Series Pot with Lid, 4-1/4-Qt.

Wonderful cooking pot.
We put off buying a cooking pot for years because of the cost but finally broke down because this one was so reasonable. Now we use this pot to cook in every day of our lives. It has a thick bottom so we can sautee meats and vegetables prior to adding the liquid for stews. I use it to cook peacan praline candy in. Such a great product. Thank you.

It's Great ... Except
Nice heavy pot. Onions turn nicely translucent in it, and it does a great job browning meat for stew also. Non stick. Easy to clean the pot itself. Would be wonderful, EXCEPT that the first thing I made in it was a red chile stew. It got into the lid between the glass and the rim and I can't get it washed out! I can't see a way to take the rim off the lid to wash it either. Seeing that red oily ick in there makes me reluctant to use it again.
