All Clad Stainless Kitchen Helpers

Student cookware
First of all, this set is NOT the made-in-USA All-Clad, which is made in Pennsylvania in a special factory with special materials, but is made in China for All-Clad. The pieces are small, with no lids, and no lids are available. This is a freebie that comes if you buy a set of "the other" All-Clad. Probably an experiment to see if China can do as well as the USA.

That said, the pieces are smaller than the usual smallest All-Clad pieces. Remembering that you can never fill a cooking pan brimful, you should count on a capacity of only a few cups in these "helpers." They are just about right for heating up a small portion of something if you live in student digs.

Great set, great gift
We have a lot of All-Clad pieces and when I first saw these I couldn't believe the price. Another reviewer mentioned they are made in China for All-Clad. I've used All-Clad for many years and these seem to be as well built as the USA versions. A lid IS available for the sauce pan, just buy a 1 or 2 quart sauce pan lid. The pieces are a little small, but I use they for many things.

The price is right for giving as a gift. Each pan is in it's own box inside a bigger, so they can be given as two gifts.

I highly recommend these pans.

Wow - I never had cookware that performs this well!
I just recently received this set as a gift from my wife. I'd been talking about updating some of the accessories in our kitchen and cookware was one of the things I couldn't decide on. We've had Farberware for 20 years and been mostly satisfied with its performance - but I really wanted something a little more sturdy. So when these showed up I was excited to try them out. My experience so far leads me to believe that these things will last forever if you take care of them. I find that they fit the way I cook and are really easy to clean - if you follow the directions. I couldn't be more impressed.

All-Clad Stainless Steel 10 Piece Set (MK Exclusive) 501891

Great Products...
We had 1 pan already from All-Clad and some accessories, we liked them and we've heard good things about this brand. We were not disappointed, all of these pans were just what we ordered. This 10 piece set was a replacement for our previous old set from a different brand, all the pieces fit the bill for all the previously owned pans with some of them being upgraded.

All-Clad Copper-Core Stainless Steel 3-Quart Saute and Simmer Pan

perfect pan
I just purchased this pan after having impressive results with the copper core fry pan. I love this pan and use it much more than the fry pan. The added height of the sides allows this to have multiple uses and the lid is great. I have used this pan to sear salmon, whip up a risotto and for stir frying vegetables, all with great results. Every time the pan cleans up incredibly well. I thought I was going to have a hard clean up with one dish but after soaking in warm water for 20 minutes the pan cleaned up looking brand new. I am very happy with the responsiveness to temperature adjustments. I am a hard core Le Creuset fan but and very happy to add this to my cooking arsenal.

Perfect Sized Pan
I get a lot of use from this pan because it's a cross between a fry pan and a sauce pan. The sides are higher than the Copper Core frying pans and the lid to this pan will also fit the All Clad Copper Core 10 inch fry pan. I have prepared risotto, chicken Marsala, omelets, burgers, etc. in this pan. I own seven Copper Core pans and do not cook with anything else other than one enameled cast iron pan. They clean up easily with Bar Keepers Friend (powder, not liquid version) and my pans still look like new despite putting them in the dishwasher. The value of Copper Core is the even heat conduction. I cook on an electric flat top stove. When I use a burner that is smaller than the pan footprint, the pan still cooks evenly and not just in the middle. These are pans that will last a lifetime and you will pass on to someone later in life. Yes they are an investment, but how many sets of crappy pans do people end up buying over the course of a several years? These are the last pans that you...

All-Clad Cop-R-Chef 6-Inch Lid

Haven't found anything that it fits
Customer Service from All-Clad was comical. Doesn't fit the 2-Quart Saucepan as this copper finished lid is a little smaller than the stainless lid shipped with the 2-Quart Saucepan. Couldn't get a coherent answer from All-Clad regarding what it does fit in 3 emails to All-Clad customer service. They told me twice it's the lid to buy for that Saucepan although I have both and know they don't fit. By then it was too late to return for full refund.

Fits the 1.5 Qt sauce pan too
Very nice lid. Well made, heavy. Beautiful finish. Fits the 1.5 Qt Cop-R-Chef saucepan perfectly. The inside diameter is a touch under 5 1/2"; the outside diameter is 6 1/4". Copper on the outside, stainless steel on the inside, with a stainless steel handle, just like the pans.

All-Clad Stainless 6-Piece Cookware Set

Enjoy cooking!
I used to blame my lack of cooking in part on the fact that I had a terrible apartment kitchen with no counter space.

Well, that much is partially true, but after I received this set for my birthday one year, I realized it was also the pots I was using. And that with the right equipment, cooking is truly a joy.

I had an old set of hand-me-down Revereware. Competent enough, but their age was showing... and when it took me two hours to boil potatoes in the big pot (and they still didn't get completely done!) I was ready to throw them all out the window. Enter All Clad.

All Clad is not nonstick, and you do have to take care of it (although I do put mine in the dishwasher) but the shine is enough that you won't have much trouble if you clean up (or at least soak) immediately. Don't let it sit -- I'm still scrubbing the remains of some soy sausages from my skillet! (Although perhaps I shouldn't have cooked those in the first place.)

They have a solid aluminum core, which...

All-Clad is Awesome!
My wife and I received several Stainless All-Clad pieces for wedding gifts and are extremely happy with their performance. Food cooks evenly throughout the pans, heat is maintained, clean-up is simple. We have some with non-stick, which is amazing. Highly recommend purchasing. Spend the extra amount now since these will be the last ones you'll ever need to buy!

Worth every penny!
This set is a great way to get a few basic cookware pieces, however, once you start cooking with this truly outstanding cookware, you'll want to buy more. Over the years, I have spent hundreds of dollars on another well-known commercial cookware brand, but All-Clad is far superior. The stainless looks great and is a breeze to care for. The handles stay comfortable and the pots are really well-balanced, making them very easy to handle. They heat evenly and cook uniformly, even over low and medium heat. I am very pleased with All-Clad's performance on my radiant cooktop. I would recommend this line of cookware to anyone interested in quality and performance. Well worth every penny!
