This pan needs a rubber handle cover
This is a good heavy skillet and I would love it if it had a good slip on rubber or vinyl handle cover. Even at low heat you have to use a pot holder to handle the pan. The handle, though plenty strong, is too thin and narrow to control the pan. This problem would also be eliminated by a handle cover.Winware 8 Inch Aluminum Fry Pan in Mirror Finish

It had a few shallow gouges in the rim near the handle, but that won't affect it's usefulness.
If you buy a non-coated aluminum frying pan, be sure to get one like this with a mirror finish on the inside; it is a lot nicer to cook with. If you don't, you may receive a pan with an interior that is rough, unpolished spun aluminum; how rough it is depends on who makes it and where--the last one I ordered on-line was pretty rough, I would not have bought it had I seen it first.

This was a good buy. The pan arrived on time, in great shape and I love cooking with it. All Good things.
